Salute!

Ahoy :salute:

I'm new to sub sims. Played for a short time on SHO before losing interest because they abandoned it. Just recently picked up SH5 on sale (who can resist broadening their horizons for just $2.50?).

First and foremost I'd like to thank all of the modders for their hard work in making the game playable. Without you it would be collecting dust like so many lesser titles.

Although I've never been particularly invested (or good) with study sims, I feel the marketplace is stale without them. I long for the days when you could buy a game off of the shelf and open the box to discover many goodies like full manuals, etc.. Ah well, time moves on I guess.

At any rate, while I'm here, I may as well ask. It would be of great help to me if someone could possibly link me to a tutorial for the TDC as found in TDW's New UI mod. I currently have Sober's mega mod list installed as recommended by a friend, but I am at a loss as to how to use the TDC and that friend is not available to assist me. I've had no luck with the search function (perhaps it is me?). Thanks in advance for the welcome and assistance. :salute:

Hello All

I started playing sub simulations with Silent Service on NES, I've played SH2,3 GWX,4,5 and Online. I'm currently playing SH5 with Wolves of Steel. SH3 GWX is probably the best, I really like the crew management aspect, and customizing a sub's equipment is also a plus.

After crash dive was installed on my iphone (thanks for the heads up Neil) I find my interest in the SH series reignited. Grey wolves, SH4 and 5 all sucessfully installed under parallels on a 27" iMac.. these games all come alive with modern hardware with a little tweaking.. I feel a patrol is afoot. Gday all. Nice to be back.
