I will settle for zero, but I can deal with an occasional plane. I will run a mission and let you know how many planes I spot on the screen. We can go from there. Ten percent of normal would probably work.

Ok I uploaded the file and added a No planes mod to the rar. Before you try it, be sure you are in port. Tell me if that suits you or not plz.

How do I fix this to get far, far fewer planes?

Hi, thanks for the mod, it's awesome, but I encountered one problem. The game stalled trying to load a save. It remained at "Find'em chase'em sink'em" screen for hours.

This save is a new career I started after installing the mod. I wonder if there is anything to do with saving the game when I found a carrier task group, with like 10 enemy ships around.

Akagi is looking beautiful, just noticed a couple of things, the island is on the wrong side of the ship as well as the funnel. Just wondering, will Kaga also be in the next upgrade?

Webster's Better Air Patrols reduces the number of planes, and increases the skill level of the planes that are there. I installed it over FOTRS no problem.

This Problem is under construction !
The Kaga will come later cause she must build first.

I enjoy this mod. However, is there a fix for the TBT which is not able to turn a 360*. I believe there were two TBT's on submarines.

The problem with the Akagi is fixed.
It was not an wrong construction, only an mistake by Pack3D during the cloning-procedure.

I was able to get the TGT mod (AoB, speed and range dial fixes) to work with FOTRS mod by activation the TGT mod for SH4 1.5. That takes care of one problem.

As for decreasing the number of air patrols (planes), I am trying the Airstrike Mod to see if that decreases or elimates them. If that fails then I will try Webster's Better Air Patrols.

getting aspect ratio and range?
 
:confused:Does FOTRS match the keel of the shadow ship with the mast of the target for aspect ratio and distance? If not, what are the rules for aspect ratio and range for merchants and warships? I could not find any instructions on this issue.:confused:

Lately, planes have not been driving me as crazy as before. Maybe it is the No Airstrike mod? If I see too many, I will try Webster's better planes mod.

Visuals are the best of the major mods, RFB and TMO in my opinion. This is a very well done mod. :up::woot:

I have identified a problem with using the ruler tool to plot a course. It is difficult to read the compass during night missions, unless I am colorblind. Last time my eyes were checked, colorblindness was not a problem. The solution seem simple. Perhaps in the next version the compass dial could be illuminated (or we will all have to play using magnifying glasses in night time missions.)
