first of all i want to thank the creators of this mod. now the quest. first patrol from st nazaire. trying to sail out of the harbor the first door opens but not the second. so i have damage-flooding-dead. what can i do? cheers:har::wah: |
Hello nik112,
the doors belong to a lock (sluice, watergate). So the first one opens, you drive your U-boat into the lock and stop it. Wait until the outer doors open, then accelerate to leave the lock. But be careful with the speed: the locks of St. Nazaire are the shortest in the game. Regards Blueduck |

For your first question check the "realism settings" before starting career or mission. Increase torpedo room to full number of crewmen, maybe add an officer with "torpedo qualification" and/or promote the crew in the torpedo rooms. Concerning compatible MODs check appendix H of the "LSH3_V5_Minimanual_EN.pdf" for files which MUST NOT be changed by other MODs. Check the warning dialog of JSGME. I can't get the new environment mod, based on MEP, to work with LSH3. I also have this problem getting it to work with WAC. I did a complete reinstalll for both WAC and LSH3 but to no avail.
I have only 2GB RAM but a fast Dual Core with SLI cards....could it be a RAM issue ? |

I tested it with just LSH3v5,,,,,same result with just WAC4.1 too. No extra mods. I tried various nHancer changes too by no luck. I'm suspecting its the ResFix so thats my next test.
I also ordered an extra 2GB RAM just to make sure. |

Thanks SeaWolf but I think i've solved it.
I uninstalled/reinstalled SH3 patched to 1.4b (thats all I seem to do these days, bloody installs!), then removed the silly StarForce thingy, then downloaded an older ResFix (not the LSH3 one), then activated MEPv3 with absolutely no other mods....and that worked! Now i'm going to try it with WAC 4.1 and then LSH3v5 What I would like to do is use LSH3v5 with WAC4.1 campaign and SubPens. I really dont see the case for seperate WAC and LSH3 mods....maybe i'm missing something:hmmm: Cheers, UG |

MEP colors
Hey all. Really enjoying the new environment mod! Just wanted to point out that I'm using normal nights, and in the mornings (haven't checked evenings) when the sun hasn't come up yet but it is starting to get lighter, if you look underwater it appears to be considerably lighter than it is above the waves, especially when there are clouds and such. Just wanted to throw that out there so maybe some day it could be fixed. LSH rocks! :rock:
