Description
Moldycheese's All Subs Extra Torpedoes Mod This mod gives all subs a total of 800 torps (400 front and 400 back) and reduces the reload time to 30 seconds. I created this mod because I saw that of the mods that increase ammo most of them also give ridiculously overpowered cheats or only increase the ammo by about 200 and only affect the starting sub. This mod is meant to ensure you have torps for days on all subs. It's for people who want plenty of ammo but don't want the crazy cheats associated with most of the other mods. To install navigate to your Silent Hunter 5 install directory and place each of the UPCGE and associated .sim files into the correct folders. Example: For me the NSS_Uboat7a .sim and UPCGE pair would go in- C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Silent Hunter 5\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat7a !! IMPORTANT !! : Make a backup of each original UPCGE and .sim file so you can revert if you want to. File Size: 323 KB This is my first mod so I couldn't figure out how to get it to work with JSGME, let me know if you have any issues. Note: Your sub storage will not show the increased capacity, it will simply show full storage until you use 800 torps in one patrol. (not likely) Have fun!! Edit: I found that the last sub (7c41) didn't have the increased torpedo storage. (Small oversight on my part.) This new file has the increased storage now on all subs. Moldycheese

JJ MacLeod 02-14-18 at 10:34 PM	While this mod is fun for a 1 episode adventure (taking out them pesky destroyers is occasionally fun :P ), this mod somehow corrupts a graphics file that renders saved games useless. If you try to come back another time (quit to desktop, and say return after work to continue your adventure), the saved game will load with your sub greyed out when above water, and shortly after completely lock up your computer requiring a hard restart.
