UPDATED TO WORK WITH CURRENT VERSION 11.11.2018

1. Updated to work with current version Cold Waters Database configs
2. Korund Decoy (Moss) added to Victor Class subs
3. Active Decoy Added to Victor Class Subs
4. Ownship torpedo and target depth no longer displayed
5. Knuckles and Noisemakers no longer displayed on tactical map
6. Unguided torpedoes no longer displayed on tactical map
7. It is no longer blatantly obvious if a torpedo is tracking on you (icon).
Only indication is inital TIW callout
8: No status report on torpedo target aquisition


ReadMe:


-Sonar intensities are now more reasonable. Submarines and certain surface vessels will be harder to detect. You will be harder to detect.

-Decreased sensitivity of Mk-48 and to reasonable levels to simulate ambient noise.
I'm sure it really does have a range of 2Nm in a swimming pool.


-Friendly and enemy noisemakers now emit louder noise for spoofing.


-Active Sonobouys should now ping (untested)

-Stationary mines have a larger killzone


-Active Countermeasures Added

Currently they are only functional on US subs, 80's era. They load into the VLS system, and come out of the boat low and astern. They are highly effective against active search homing torpedos. In my experience, the torpedo will ALWAYS go for the decoy over ownship. HOWEVER - the waters are still VERY dangerous. There is still a significant probability that the torpedo will continue through the countermeasure, and target you.
I recommend using these only sparingly or when you're in a pinch, and getting the hell out of dodge as soon as possible.
Do note that Active Decoys do not emit much sound, and you will still need to rely on your noisemakers for those close calls.



DO NOT GET COCKY. The waters are still as dangerous and cold as ever.

Hello, This mod pertube the game and forced me to reinstall everything. There was only one mission left in the training or the missions. To be corrected urgently. cordially

Did you install over the originals?
It is preferable to place the 'override' folder in the 'StreamingAssets' folder to avoid that.
All of my training missions seem to be readily available.

Sure enough I place it at the place indicated and I crushed over the file of the sub-Russian. Is this the beginning of the conflict?

-I'll get it done this weekend for you. Keep in mind it'll only be available for Russian subs. So, although you may not have them on your loadout, the enemy might lob one at you.

Good evening, I had your folder "override" in the folder "StreAsst" where it was already the mod of the Russian submarines. I crushed everything and finally nothing. So I reinstalled the game and put your file and it works. Now I have to know if I can put back the Russian mod whose file is also named "override". Do I have to crush over yours again? cordially

Suggest adding the install instructions to the Readme in the game and here. Its only here in the comments that I found them. Well more people asking how to or how to correct their install.
I do hope the VLS subs will appear soon in game. Thanks for the mod to use for now.

this mod seems to break the narwhal for me in beta 1.05
i can select it in single missions (where applicable) but when the screen is supposed to the start engagement screen with the close to button etc i get a black screen or a black screen with the top portion still coloured and the game music is still playing. kinda like some part of the game freezes up

i installed the override folder into the StreamingAssets folder, but when i try to play the campaign, it only shows one. when i try to play that, im stuck on the screen to create a new game file, not to mention there is words on top of word. i also try uninstalling and reinstalling it , but it still shows the same problem. any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank! i am currently running the 1.15c version, beta.

If you are still around, send me a link to the mod that this mod was breaking.
I'm getting back to Cold Waters, and plan on updating this mod. If you can link me to the mod you're using, I can get the author's permission to have that mod included in this one.
This goes for everyone else as well. If you all would like to see this mod combined with stuff like VLS mods, please send me the links and I'll start contacting the original authors for permissions!

Jive Turkey that got this on a vid, and was hoping to get the same Mods. Is here any mods that is alike the one he uses??
