JSGME ready.
Simple mod to allow starting a campaign in a XVIII U-Boat.
Works for 1943, 1944 and unlocks 1945 campaign, all flotillas.
Still allows to start with regular IX-D2 boat as well.
*** Notes:
1) This will unlock certain technologies such as advanced radar and sonar not normally available, especially in 1943 career.
2) You must start a new career to use this boat.

the mod is double packed, means 1 time too much.. only copy the whole folder inside the "Enable Type XVIII Career Start" and copy this in your Mod Folder. Thats it!
File #1 Type205
Black colored Type XVIII. All German text within the game. Made for the German speaking community.
File #2 Type205_EXU1
Red conning tower, blue hull with custom text graphics on conning tower. This Type XVIII has a modern day experimental look. All English text within the game. Made for the English speaking community.
Both Type XVIII boats in files #1 and #2 are identical except for the look and language of text in the game.
You only install one or the other. You choose which one you want to play. As stated already, this MOD does need a little tweaking to polish it up. It's still a working boat that is fun to use in a career.
It's slow submerged. That is easily fixed with a little text file change before you start a career as I have done. The files are Generic Mod Enabler ready. So just download, choose one of the two boat files and install in the Generic Mod Enabler. I enjoy playing this MOD. A lot of hard work went into creating it.
