I'm running GW1.1a, using Sh3commander with "randomize number of days in port" on and sh3Weather.

At the beginning of my second patrol I had a start date of Sept 24, 1939, I upgraded my hydophones (in my game it takes daysspent=5 more to upgrade this), the calendar in the Briefing room advanced to Sept 29, 1939 but when I launched the mission it was Sept 25, 1939. Since I increased the daysspent in the Basic.cfg for the hydrophones did I miss some other file that needs to be changed to pick up the basic.cfg change (I'm pretty sure SH3Commander is not the problem because I've used it before without this problem, the only new thing is the increase in daysspent in my Basic.cfg.

Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks Firewall. It looks like what happened is that the days spent doing the upgrade didn't make it to to actual mission launch. If I understand how it's supposed to work I should have left on the 29th which is Sep 24th + the 5 days for upgrade, it seems to only have added 1 day for the upgrade. That's why I was wondering if there's some other file that needs the upgrade time included.

Did you make manual changes in the basic.cfg file?

If you did this without or prior to a SH3 Commander rollback, your manually changed basic.cfg file was probably overwritten by the SH3 Commander basic.cfg backup file which rolled back your SH3 files at launch of the next session.

Just a guess as to what might have happened.

Thanks for the reply.

No changes made to any files after I started the game. I had changed the file before I started my career. I also made the upgrade and left on the mission without doing any save in between the upgrade and mission launch. First time I remember seeing this happen. The only change to any file was the dayspent parameter in the basic.cfg for the hydrophones and other equipment. That's why I'm wondering if there is another file or parameter I need to change.
