Lifeboat Mod ?

There is one at Serg's Mods site, but no way to download it. Where else can I find it ?

I dont think Serg ever got the mod to work the way he wanted it to so it was never released.

Trouble is finding the best way to implement it ingame
So no it wont be in any mod in the foreseeable future

It's torture to see it displayed at his site. I hope he removes it, or updates it to work. Or maybe like The General said, it could be included in GWX(I'm so excited about this release, I hope it has a Light Version like War Ace).

I would like it if he finished that Soviet Type 7 DD. It would really be a good addition to the game.

A life-boat with only two people and a u-boat next to them - I suppose they picked up the survivors and dropped off Bernard and his brother:p.

Just a question how to use it
The game wont spawn a unit like in missions
If you add it like the flotsam it sinks real quick

We did toy with the idea of adding it to convoys with a wolfpack attached with the lifeboat being at the front of the convoy so when the convoy was near enough to be spawned the lifeboat would appear at the front
As it has 0 speed the rest of the convoy would have to go around it so by the time the player got there the convoy would be in disarray with the lifeboat simulating a sunk ship
Not ideal and to be honest I dont know if Serg ever tried it - he has the only copy of the lifeboat - so never knew if it worked or not
