View Full Version : I have Patos 3k bearing overlay running on my ATI card

I heard from several people that the 3000 meter bearing overlay that Pato made only worked for Nvidia hardware. Well I gave it a shot anyways and installed his mod today.

And it looks like it works! I see the full compass rose superimposed on my sub and it is really useful for plotting bearing to target on the nav map.

If any other ATI owners want to give it a shot, now might be a good idea.

I am running with Catalyst 6.8 drivers on a ATI X1900XT card. It has 512 megs, not sure if that is of any concern. I think that anyone with a card in the X1000 family and with at least Catalyst 6.8 should try.

It would also be interesting to see if the mod now works on older cards from the X800 and 9800-family.

I can confirm that this works in GW with a X800 Pro. It's also possible to enable it mid patrol via JSGME. Looks good too.:up:

Being a fellow ATI user this is great news.

Just wish they would get the R600 out the door :yep:
