Moin,

If you just dropped in to see the almost barenaked lady sitting in the back seat go to post#25.

This is the actual status of my new project:

after the loss of the brainīs first half the windows are transparent after all
loosing the second half was the price to get the position lights lit upRemaining work to do:

halos around the lights
tarpauling for the piered version
almost bare naked lady for the backseat (demanded by the German forum) ;)Since I have to run after some brain now to fill up the empty space in my head it will probably take some time to complete the remaining tasks.

Thanks for your advice. Iīve done my homework now and studied the *.dat file. :D

I guess now the base commander finally gets to be in SHIII, driving around with his "neked dollies" driving the crews insane. ;) LOL Great addition and I can't wait. I assume this would have to be added into Harbor Traffic 1.47 to get it running around the base's harbor.

S-K... the "prudes" don't have to download it. Like everything else they complain about..... you don't want to see it.... don't get it or look at it. Just let us old preverts have our fun. ;) :roll:

As I donīt know whether it is possible to link different textures with different weather conditions / seasons of the year or not I decided to skip the "bare-naked-lady-item" and just put a second crewman in loose pose onto the back seat. And by the way female anatomy is pretty complex and hard to create/simulate. :D But, time permitting, Iīll check out the possibilities to satisfy all "perverts" amongst us. :rotfl:

The piered version has come to an reasonable state as well:

thanks for the advice. Iīve analyzed your ships. I hope you donīt mind. Iīve created and implemented the particle generator and attached it to the light concerned. No halo showed up ingame. So, obviously Iīve made a mistake. And I turned back to the hex-editor to find out whatīs wrong.

It is not necessary ParticleGeneranor for Halo object.
The basic details are a self-illumination material with diffuse HaloXXX.tga
with a-chanal (figure of a luminescence) and property (controller) "LookAt" for Halo object.

does anybody know how to rescale the shipīs wake in width and length? As you can imagine the boat is pretty small and doesnīt match the wake that was attached to the previous unit iīve cloned this one from.

"Anyway, there I was on the Will Rogers. Sonar says they have a goofysignal, bering zero-five-two. We're st periscope depth, so I put the search scope and train it out to zero-five-two, and shure enough, there's this Gulfstream-36 sailboat, moving along at four or five knots with the autosteering rig set. Its a dull day so I flip the scope to high power, and gees what? The captian and the mate-theres one gal who'll never drown!-are on top of the deckhouse horizontal and superimosed.

Look file ship.val and search "ShipWake" string.
And then edit param's:
1) TotalWakeTime
2) FollowShipDistance
3) StartParameters:
a) LeftVertex->StartPosition = 2 param's
b) RightVertex->StartPosition = 2 param's
And if there is a desire look other parameters of this controller.
