I can't find any information on when ships are sited, they do not appear on the Navigation map as they did in NYGM 2.0. With the earlier version, you could mark ships that were disabled and return later to destroy them. I have the following mods installed: nygm 2.2, restore gods eye view, and single merchant contact. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Javelin,
Are you sure that the location of the ships apeared in nav map in TW 2.2?
Let me ask Observer to have a look at this.

That is part of the 'realism'. If you pass the cursor around the area where the ships should be, you should see dotted circles. If you click on one it should give you very limited information, such as "unknown".
If you identify the ship with the UZO or periscope it will show up on the Attack (TDC) Map. Click on it and it will now appear on the Nav Map.
The idea is to have no more information than you would in reality. The Attack Map is for attacking the enemy, one at a time. The Nav Map is for navigating. Of course, there are people trying to make it even worse, and I love them for it:

That being said, I would think that the uboats navigator would mark the coordinates of any disable ship so they could return and sink it after chasing a convoy. The realism is that you already know the location of any "wounded" ships.
Just my thoughts on this.

Javelin,
I am not 100% sure what you think may be missing.
The icon showing a ship in real time as if there was a satellite in use has been gone since RUB.
The dotted circles are still there and have not been removed and sadly are way to easy to come across.
While we have reduce the information associated with the dotted circles to better represent what you actually know it never did say if a ship was wounded and as far as I recall, SHIII never marked off damaged ships only sunk ones.
