SH3 mini tweaker and peri zoom

Hello !!

I'm using GW mod and it's very difficult for me to identifying targets.

In fact I would like to increase the periscope zoom. I've installed SH3 mini tweaker and increased the unknown value 2 to 10 (periscope optical section only) like in the post http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=46848 but in the game I don't see my modifications. So, I've tried to increase to 20 but it's the same thing :))
I use sh3commander, is it the cause of this problem ?

I know there is a mod "camerazoom.rar" but the link doesn't work now. Maybe Anybody has the file ?

Hi,

First you did roll back SH3C, just to be safe.

The backup and new DAT file is located in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\Data\Library

n.b to revert to the original zoom just rename the backup to cameras.dat(IIRC) and paste back to the above location.

Thats about all I can think of.

To have 10x you can without any mods.
Write into commands_en.cfg next (red):

[Cmd70]
Name=Cam_zoom_in
Ctxt=1
Key0=0x05,cR,"CTRL M.wheel"

Mouse Wheel with Ctrl key
20x is bad - artefacts.

Ok, I have been trying to change the peri zoom in GW myself for sometime using minitweaker, and can't get it to work either. If anyone could specify which values need to be changed in the tweaker that would be great.

btw, how does changing a hotkey change the peri zoom level?!!

I've removed the backup file in data/library folder and all works correctly now :D
