is there a ship download for Ark Royal? i was told you can download it as a seperate ship file...

nah there is no ark royale...so i guess its not been made as a single yet?

Just noticed you are new here so welcome to subsim:up:
I belive i have heard of someone who is working on the ark. Have just had look myself and it is listed as something Sergbuto is working on.
Just keep looking at the above link evry now and again as it is regualy updated with all the new ships that are released.

There is an Ark Royal model using a cloned Illustrious in HanSolo78's 'U-boat War Ace Campaign' mod. You'd have to download the mod and extract the files you need.

It's very possible. I've been able to transplant all the added ships from the U-boat War Ace mod into my version of SH3 without any hiccups.
In the case of the Ark Royal, you'd need the following folders/files;

'CVArkRoyal.cfg' found in 'data/Roster/British/Sea'

'NCV_ArkRoyal' folder found in 'data/Sea'

Remember to copy the entry for the Ark Royal in the English/GermanNames.cfg (the one contained in data/Sea folder) to your own English/GermanNames.cfg
