So what's the forecast for this years football season?

Will Neal's "Raiders" win any games? (or will Moss stay out of trouble)
Will the Vikings win a superbowl?:damn:
Can the Steelers repeat?:smug: (..or I promise to where a helmut when I ride my bike):dead:
Will Culpepper save the Dolphins. (..or "what flavor of gator-aid would you like Mr. Culpepper." Says Joey (over-rated) Harrington- Dolphins new waterboy.

The Lions...no, seriously, Joey is gone:rotfl: now he can drag the dolphins down.

Don't even mention the Cowboys:dead:

Fav-ray takes the packers to the bottom. (no survivors) (..or cheesehead logjam shuts down lake Michigan)

Are you daft? There is only one bloody world cup and the Americans shall never raise it. I mean the US was beaten by Ghana, a country so poor that FIFA had to pay for their uniforms. The US will never win so long as they aren't poor enough to have nothing better to do than play some footie.

As for American Football (the bastard son of the bastard son of the bastard son of football), well I'm a Canadian so I'm as in touch but I like the Giants for a good playoff run. At least through one round. Eli Manning got his feet wet last year and he should be more prepared to take his team forward. He's got too much ability and too many brilliant offensive assets to not have the potential to do a fair playoff appearance.

I don't though at this point that we can really judge any of the popular subjects just yet. Miami though did get itself kicked bad by the Steelers WITHOUT their #1 QB. I wanna see the bengals do something impressive. I also wonder what the Eagles can do without TO. Will they actually be better?

Now how about the forgotten football league? the CFL season is at it's mid point and there are some exiting teams playing. The Lions look unstoppable with Dickenson and Geroy Simon but we'll see if Dickie can stay healthy for the post season.

The Eskimos ended a dreadful losing skid tonight with some last minute heroics. Ricky Ray engineered a brilliant final drive to go ahead in the final minute. AJ Gass was brutal on D tonight. Their playoff life is on life support.

The Blue Bombers look like a good playoff contender if Milt Steagal can get healthy and productive like he was in the first half. Kevin Glenn is back and all he's missing is his #1 target.

Hamilton is finished. That Labour Day classic was a joke. I think they had 3 consecutive turnovers.

Damon Allen surpassed Warren Moon last week to become the all time passer in professional football. He still has what it takes to take his team to the championship. Think of him as Brett Farvre but with a good team. The Argos are still a threat. When Ricky Williams gets back from his injury we'll see if he can actually post some numbers that make sense with his name.

The Allhouettes have been sliding from their unbeatable start. Anthony Calvillo threw an uncharacteristic number of INTs last week. The East is looking like a 3 way fight for a championship game berth.

The Roughriders are a bit of an enigma. They look like they can murder one week and tank the next. Maybe they'll be the post season surprise this year, if kerry Joseh is up to it.

The Satmpeders were on a big winning streak but it was barely ended tonight by the Eskimos. They look like the big obstacle for BC this year. If the O-line can give Burress the time he can cut up any secondary, even BCs.

That's my analysis. I guarentee you any and all Americans reading don't know who any of these players are or where these teams play.

Those of us who are not fans of European-style football tolerated the World Cup discussion this year. Are those FIFA fans so insecure as to attack the NFL so aggressively?

To the point, I like Indianapolis to finally shake off the playoff curse this season. I think that Joseph Addai will prove to be an adequate, but not necessarily equal to Edgerin James, which does not really matter because Indy likes the pass.

I suspect that Seattle will continue the streak of the Superbowl loser hangover, and I expect them to go perhaps as low as 9-7 this year, as I do not like their defense. I actually think that San Francisco might win the NFC West this year, but I still haven't taken any of their players for my fantasy team. I'm crazy, not stupid.

As for the toughest division in football, the NFC East, I like Washington to win the division and be out in the first round, as they will be bruised and battered after playing two games each against Dallas, New York and Philadelphia.

To answer the question: Yes, my Philadelphia Eagles will be better than they were last year, and I think they may take a Wild Card spot. The addition of Donte Stallworth gives speed and depth to their aching WR corps, they finally have a credible RB by committee approach with Westbrook, Buckhalter and Mahe in the backfield, and their defensive line has finally been overhauled to compliment the consistantly high-performing secondary. If they were in any other division, I would take them further into the playoffs.

i kinda wish they would show more American Footbal on british terrestial TV..theyre was a period a few years agao when a late night program would cover the NFL games and once i got into the rythm of the gameplay i found it fascinating...but alas it died a death...im sure there's games shown on satalite but i haven't got sat tv

on the soccer/football sissy debate that sadly is probably the key to the thing....it's not hard to pick up on the vibe against playing european football....maybe rugby should be introduced?? same amount of physical aggression and contact as american footy but no body armour..it's a circular argument....i'd rather watch an american NFL team play their games than watch England play football right now...

Hey, I don't mind American football (though from what i've seen the CFL is much better).

But it totally stumps me how you could call it "football".

The ball is kicked very rarely, and only ever by specially designated players. I just find it very odd.

In the scale of what sports that I think could sensibly be called "football", i put it like this:
European Football > Gaelic Football > Australian Rules Football > Rugby Union Football > Rugby League Football > North American Football

You like basketball and that ain't exactly tough, despite what the gangsta's would have you believe.

You have no clue about rugby and that's as tough as it gets. Want proof? check out Australia's National Rugby League (NRL):

A sport doesn't have to be violent and rough to be good. I like tennis for example.

However basketball is plenty rough and tuff. Take me for example. I skinned my elbow a few years ago playing and it made me cry. I wear elbow pads now though.

The CFL owns all you American noobs. Besides without Canada football never would have been introduced to the US. That's why american football is the bastard son of canadian football wich is the bastard son of rugby which is the bastard son of the real football (soccer).

I also hate the NFL because they aren't gonna let Damon Allen into the Pro Football hall of fame just cause he played his career in the CFL. That of course makes no sense cause Warren Moon played most of his career in the CFL before he went to the NFL and he was let in. Damon Allen now has beaten Moon for the all time passer mark.

And everyone knows CFL rules are better than NFL. They call Canadian football mutant but its really the NFL. the CFL still retains its rugby roots. You can even kick the ball through the uprights when you're running upfield for a field goal.

And just to appease the hardliners, should farvre have retired instead of staying for another year? It seems as if his team isn't gonna be ready to do anything special until he's too old to play.

As far as my pics... I'm always so far off every year that I don't even try anymore  From what I see seems like every team is showing pretty much an even shot atm, but my favorit is the Baltimore Ravens. Steve McNair has been doing it for a long time now, knows how to win, and is as tough as nails. Now that the Ravens have a quarterback to run the show to compliment the run and that good defense they may be a favorite...

... assuming McNair can stay healthy of course... he is getting kindof old now..:hmm: :shifty: :-?

Yeah, they have a bye this Sunday, so they will go into October looking to score their first TD. It's funny, I've read and heard a lot of sportscasters heap ridicule on them, worst team ever, wish we were playing the Raiders, etc. It's true though, the owner is old and out of touch, they hired a coach that no one else would take, and an offensive coordinator who has not designed an NFL play in 10 years. They have their #2 receiver sitting on the bench because he does not like the system. They traded Doug Gabriel to the Pats... for a 5th round pick--what was that about?? :damn: And the O-line is pure crap, those guys couldn't block my granny. What a shame…..

I am certian that all of the Bears fans out there are as giddy as schoolgirls with the victory over the powerhouse Buffalo Bills, but one cannot ignore the fact that Chicago is at the top of a cupcake NFC North division. Transplant Chicago into the NFC East and see if they are blowing out opponents 40-7. The only substantial victory that I would give them is against Seattle, but that was without Shaun Alexander and with a depleted secondary.

Honestly, I put more faith in Baltimore, which is like Chicago, but with a better offense. For the Bears, it is only a matter of time before Rex Grossman's game collapses. Honestly, does anyone really think that this guy is for real?

Guess what, the Bears are for real, they have beaten every opponent they have faced handily, and every time they take the field they play an excellent game of nearly flawless football. Oh, and you will eat your words about Mr. Grossman when he wins MVP-and the Super Bowl. The Ravens? Come on! That's all youve got? A better offense then the Bears? Are you nuts! If Butkus was playing, I would be concerned. However, he is long retired, and you are stuck with that Ray Lewis wannabe, Brian Urlacher. Also, I do not teach geography, but I am certain that Dallas is not located between Boston and Washington DC.

I know that you Chicagoians are a firey and impulsive bunch, and that you are starved for success after your Bears have spent nearly the past 20 years being the laughing stock of the NFL, but you have to look at things reasonably. Yes, you made the Bills one-dimensional yesterday. Of course, the QB that da Bears shut down yesterday was none other than the Canton-bound J. P. Losman. Impressive. Regarding Baltimore, I would take the trio of McNair/Lewis/Mason over that of Grossman/Jones/Muhammad anyday, and so would almost any reasonable football observer.

Mr. Grossman's numbers from yesterday: 15/27 for 182 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT, 101.2 QB Rating

Year to date: 93/152 for 1243 yds, 10 TD, 3 INT, 100.8 QB Rating.

Those are MVP numbers?

In terms of how great Chicago is, we will have to wait until week 10, where Chicago will visit the Giants, and week 12 where they will go to New England, to see. Outside of that, Chicago may very well have the easiest schedule in the league. They will make the playoffs, but I expect an early exit, as they will be, largely, untested and may not be able to respond when playing from behind.

EDIT: Note that I did not say that da Bears were a bad team. They are a good team. They are playing like a very good team, but they are not the best team in the league. Grossman is overachieving right now, and like all over achievers, he will eventually come back to earth. The sooner this happens, the better off Chicago will be. Nonetheless, one cannot deny that Chicago is in a very easy division with a very favorable schedule. Give them the NY Giants schedule and see how well they, or any team, for that matter, does.

Funny you should say that, because I don't teach Geography either, although I am a Geography major in college and I noticed you have listed your location as Allentown Pennsylvania, which is most definately not Dallas, Texas.

Mr. Grossman's numbers from yesterday: 15/27 for 182 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT, 101.2 QB Rating

Year to date: 93/152 for 1243 yds, 10 TD, 3 INT, 100.8 QB Rating.

Yes, they are.
Since your so in love with Steve McNair, I thought I'd bring his stats in for comparison: He has a 55.7 completion percentage, 3 interceptions, 5 TDs and 7 sacks, and is nursing a 75.4 QB rating. That puts him in the bottom half of the league. The Ravens are a good team, and they may even make it to the Super Bowl, if they can make it past the Colts, who IMHO are a better team. :know:
Also, I'm not really sure why the Giants are the big test for the Bears, they've only won half of their games, and all around aren't that good of a team.

Neal, I feel your pain. After watching them last night, it's entirely possible that they'll go winless this season. I figured it was a disaster when Davis hired Shell again, and so far, history seems to be repeating itself.

They were actually in this game, though. As usual, penalties killed them...and it certainly doesn't look liker there's any chemistry between Walker and the receivers...especially Randy Moss.

I actually went swimming after the first half, because I just couldn't watch anymore. I came back with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter, I turned the TV on with great trepidation, and I was stunned to see the Bears were catching up. Then I saw the punt that Devin Hester ran back for a touchdown, and I knew the Bears would win, I can't say why but I just did. I feel genuinely sorry for the Cardinals, especially the kicker (the most underrated position in the NFL) and Matt Lienart, who played a terrific game against a brutal defense.
But now I am sure, the Bears are destined for greatness. Good teams lose games like this, only the great ones find a way to win.

[a light snow slowly floats down on a cold, gray monestary somewhere in Siberia.] The peaceful scene is shattered by the sound of thumping helicopter blades. A tired monk looks up from his cold bowl of gruel and glances out the window.
Suddenly, a black and silver Mi-24 Hind with da Raiders' emblem painted on the door circles around the monestary and fire a burst of machine-gun fire. The Hind sets down infront of a delapidated log cabin. A group of Delta-Force soldiers kick the door down...
"Neal? Neal Stevens?"
"Yes, I am brother Neal. Who are you?"

"What? Is that possible."
"No time to talk! We gotta get outta here before next week's game!"

One of the DF guys, in a mohawk and wearing a lot of gold bling fires a burst, cutting the disgruntled monk in two. "I pity da foo, who cheers against da Raiders."

Houston vs Tennesse - Count on the Texans getting this win. Eric Carr has been quietly blossuming into an NFL QB.

Denver vs Indy - the smart money is on the Broncos but I'm sticking with the other horses (Colts).

Cowboys vs Panthers - Parcells will wrench the Boys into the W column.

Bears vs 49ers - they shoud play this game on Halloween, it's gonna be a slaughter. Bears!

Raiders vs Steelers - the old arch enemies, both limping with losing records. The Raiders are on a winning streak (1!!) and the Steelers are reeling. Go Rai-dahs!

Hmm...I'm not quite ready for the monastery yet (my robe needs to be dry cleaned) but I am majorly upset at what happened today. The Bears were playing like they were comatose, turning over the ball umpteen times before I couldn't dare to watch anymore. Alot of it is Rex Grossman, who has never played this many games in an NFL season before, and it shows. He's extremely talented, and can make the kinds of throws I have only seen Brett Farve make before (unfortunately I grew up watching Mr. Farve thread the needle more often than I wanted to) and consequently has a very good chance of being the best QB in the NFL. I don't think that this is entirely a bad thing as now some of the hype and focus will leave the Bears and they can go about their business playing football, and winning. They're still the best team in the NFL IMHO, they just aren't as good as the 85 Bears were, and that was too much to expect anyway. The only way they could play that well is if this guy returned from heaven to the backfield:

There's no such thing as having your "fill" of winning.

Uggh...
Well the Bears just lost what could have been confused for a tennis match with the Patriots, the ball changed hands so often. Nine turnovers, and the Pats got the last bounce to go their way...
I don't think it matters that much anyways though, the Pats aren't in our Conference, which means as far as the playoffs go (until the Super Bowl) they don't really mean much to Da Bears. Wow, did I just hear a tune change? Suddenly, the Pats don't matter... just wait until the Bears meet them in the SB again ;)

Seriously, props to the Bears defense; they're very talented in stripping the ball, but that can be countered by minor adjustments and an emphasis on disciplined ball-handling, which hopefully Coach Belichik will reintroduce to the Pats offense during practice and meetings this week.

I daresay that stripping the ball would be a rather one-dimensional way to run a defense; a good offensive line, such as that of the Patriots, will (and did) stop the rush to the QB (zero sacks on Brady and only 1 INT out of the 2 was caused by pressure from the Bears D... and lets not forget the move that Brady - a QB, not an RB - put on Brian Urlacher!) and the aforementioned ball-handling skills can reduce the effectiveness of a stripping defense. It would be unfair of me to omit mention of the Bears D's run defense, which was quite effective against the Pat's usually strong run attack, but Chicago's secondary gave up 269 yards in the air - not much, but without the volley of turnovers, would probably have been over 300.

That's not to say that the Pats D was as good as it could have been; I'm not that impressed with some of the tackling - or lack thereof - that I have seen this season, but i think it's improving.

Anyway, coulda-shoulda-woulda, the game's over, and the rest of the season is speculation... here's some of mine... The Bears will only be a credible threat to be Super Bowl Champs if Grossman can put together some consistent play thru the rest of the regular season. I'm starting to think that the teams to watch in the NFC are the Saints and the Cowboys, who could embarass the Bears in the playoffs if their QB doesn't get it together. The Patriots (my team!) will only be a credible threat to advance thru the playoffs if their ball handling and tackling improve, and their secondary continues to adapt to the loss of injured key players like Harrison and Seau.

Both teams have fairly soft schedules for the rest of the regular season and, in my opinion, will both reach the playoffs. What happens after that is anyone's guess.

What is a punt?

Here's the long answer.:know: http://www.nfl.com/fans/rules/basics

Here's the short answer. It is a type of kick that gives the ball to the other team.. After 3 attempts to go 10 yards, they can "go for it" or punt the ball to the other team.:damn: Teams with inept offenses, know all about punting the ball:lol: .

I wouldn't make that assesment just yet, Rex Grossman is a tenacious sort of QB that can always suprise you. I think that he does have something left in the tank, the fuel pump just hasn't been working for a few weeks. Remember, he's never played this deep into an NFL season. I've said it before, he has all the talent in the world, its just a matter of putting that talent to work.

I'll agree that Grossman is untested in the latter stages of the season. This is the problem, and does one really think that it is going to get easier in the playoffs? You should hope that this vaunted Bears defense holds up, because without a passing game, they are going to need every bit of it.

In terms of talent, Kerry Collins is a talented QB. Would you start him? It is more than just arm strength and accuracy that make a good QB. Grossman has a good arm, but lousy vision and awareness. That makes for a bad QB.

Rex Grossman is also tied with Marc Bulger for the most +100 QB rating games in the league (6) so twist your stats however you want, I still say he's an excellent quarterback who is on a roll that will last all the way to the Super Bowl. And I wouldn't bet against the Bears at Soldier Field in January, which looks to be the case throughout the playoffs. Seriously now, I never said Rex was the greatest QB ever, I did say I thought he was the best in the league earlier in the season when he was playing like he deserved that title, but I no longer belive that to be true. But I certainly don't think that he is a godawful miserably terrible quarterback like you apparently do. I apologize if you are offended by my occasional shouts of joy for the sucess of the Bears, a team I have always been intensely loyal to through awful seasons and good ones, and for being optimistic about their young quarterback. But George Blanda is the best all around football player I have ever seen play the game the way it should be played in person.

He could run, he could pass, he kicked the football on quick kicks on third down, he punted the ball and he kicked the field goals too.

After George Blanda I would have to say Johhny U ... but I never got to see him in person.

Manning just keeps on amazing me for the best quaterback of this century that's for sure. :D

Yeah, George was my first football hero. I started watching the Raiders in 1970 when I was 10 mainly because my Dad said George was this 42-year-old QB/kicker who kept saving their ass. I got to meet him in 1973 outside the Astrodome when the Raiders came to town and played the Oilers. He autographed my copy of his autobiography, Blanda Alive and Kicking. I also got Ken Stabler, Dave Casper, Freddy Biletnikof, John Madden, and Jim Otto's autographs in that book. :smug:

Bears win over Cowardly Lions...!
It was a close one, as it always seems to be when Da Bears visit the Motor Dome; 26-21, but as usual the Bears prevailed in the end. One more game left against the Packers at Soldier and hibernation until some unfortunate team visits the Lakeshore in January for round 2 of the playoffs!
I wasn't a big fan of Cedric Benson, first they compared him to Emmit Smith, a running back I have never been very fond of, (two reasons, he played most of his career behind a massive O-line which IMHO made him overrated, and most offensively, he had the audacity to brake the rushing record of the greatest football player ever, Walter Payton) then he held out for the entire training camp after the Bears drafted him, but now he's showing some terrific inside power and grit, plus he makes a nice changeup to Thomas Jones.
http://espn-i.starwave.com/media/apphoto/DTF11812242235.jpg
Oh, and Brian Griese played some today, putting together a nice 72 yard drive so even if Rex chokes hard in the playoffs or gets injured, the Bears are still very much a threat!

Forget the '85 Bears. Forget the Steel Curtain. Yep, the '06 Packer's 'Swiss Cheese' defense is now, unquestionably, the greatest in history. After all, they stymied the attack of history's greatest quarterback, Rex Grossman. Fans of the playoff-bound teams must be breathing sighs of relief that the Pack is going home for the year, for if they could do it to the mighty Rex Grossman, imagine what they could do to lesser QBs like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.

In seriousness, 2006 ends in with all being back to normal: Philly is once again the NFC East champion, Detroit, once again, shoots themselves in their collective foot, and Rex Grossman looks like Rex Grossman again. All is right in football.

Living in Allentown Pa, I am a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, although I think Brett Farve is great and I like to see him play well. My green and white (and silver and black now  ) are flying high after it looked like this season was over back in week 9. I was critical of the Garcia acquisition back in the spring, but I was wrong. I actually think that they are more balanced without McNabb. Anytime they get the ball to Brian Westbrook, who might just be the most underappreciated player in the NFL (how did he not make the Pro Bowl? He is the Philadelphia offense), I am happy. Also, I am writing in Brian Dawkins for president in '08.

I also have no problem with the Chicago Bears, but just don't like flavors of the month, and I think Rex Grossman is one. Also, I just can't stand the way he runs the offense. I like Brian Urlacher, I have nothing against Muhsin Muhammad; I don't think that Devin Hester is anywhere near the list of greatest kick returners in history (who could after just one good performance?) but I don't have anything against him either. Furthermore, I like Lubby Smith. I think he's a good coach. I think he's done good things with the organization. However, they will recieve my boos and taunts so long as they start Grossman. It was the same with Aikman, although not entirely because he was, after all, playing for the hated Dallas Cowgirls. I guess you could make a better comparison with Bill Romanowski, although he was a jerk who deliberately tried to injure other players; Grossman is not.

I suppose that it would be like Keyshawn Johnson, but without the talent. We'll go with that one.

Now, for the first time evah. The Raiders have the #1 draft pick. Poor bastage.

It was funny watching Jon Kitna dance around and pump his fist, seemingly unaware that they were costing themselves the #1 pick. Or, Maybe he was aware and was seeking some job security, lest Brady Quinn be coming to town. I guess that I'll have to get used to seeing him in silver and black.

Poor Aaron Brooks. Now nobody wants him, and it looks like his cousin may not be far behind. Scramblers seem to have very short careers.

NFC champion will be either the Saints or the Bears. Honestly.
Rex Grossman played poorly, but don't forget that Brian Greise looked like a trip to the eye doctor was in order as well. I wouldn't give this game too much significance towards the playoffs though, the Bears were a team playing to avoid injury and the Packers were a team playing for their last chance to improve their collective pride. Still it does make me worried, just like the Bears preseason did-before they won 7 straight to start the regular season. Its the playoffs - you never know...

I also have no problem with the Chicago Bears, but just don't like flavors of the month, and I think Rex Grossman is one.

Tony Romo is a flavor of the month- Rex Grossman is streaky. Not that that's necessarily a good thing.

I watched the game yesterday. Am still learning what all the different rules mean. Though it has taken a while to get used to the large number of players on each team it really is something that the guys talking you through the game seem to know every single one. The two guys we have in the studio between games and at half time seem to think that Patriots are a very clincal team that dont get you out of the seat. I wonder if this is a term that you in US would say was true of them. I missed the other live game last night between the egales and the giants. saw the score this morning looked like a close game. Well im looking forward to the gam,e next week looks like it will be a blockbuster.:D

That's why you don't have your starting quarterback hold for kicks. Different teams use different holders, usually a second sting quarterback or the way the Bears have always done it, the punter. Why use your starter? Everyone always talks about what a great coach Parcells is, but if you make choices that dumb you deserve to lose.

So Da Bears get to face the Seahawks next week, a team they already schooled earlier in the season. I'm quietly confident of a positive outcome for the Bears:smug:

My picks for this weekend:

Indy vs Baltimore: Indy by a lot

Philly vs Saints: Saints with Bush breaking it wide open a la Marcus Allen 1983

Seattle vs Chicago: Seattle, (sorry Bort ) the Grossman debate heats up (he melts down)

New England vs San Diego: Chargers will find a way to win.

Indy has come back to it old town and the fans are not to fond of the Colts since the team left Baltimore. The Colts will fold. Furthermore they are in the Ravens house of pain and that gives them a large advantage. That stadium get very loud when the opposing team has the ball.

Hi mr chris ...

Lets take the word defense first:

Definition: The unit that is responsible for keeping the opposition out of their end zone.
Examples: The defense is the unit that does not have possession of the football.

If your team has the football ... the defense are the defenders of their goal and it is
their job to keep you out of their end zone.

L.T. is a loving expression for one of the greatest running backs
of all time out of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas,
but he is originally from Waco, Texas which is where I'm from too.

He was drafted by the pro football team San Diego Chargers about
five years ago and has become the best running back in the NFL.

Here's a bio from his web page: http://www.ladainiantomlinson.com/home.htm

LaDainian Tomlinson has proven himself worthy of the title as the
NFL’s best player. Year after year he has consistently gotten better.
In just six seasons, L.T. is already the Chargers’ all-time leading rusher,
has been named to four Pro Bowls and has rushed for 1,200 yards in
all five of his NFL seasons.
Known as a triple threat, on October 16, 2005, in a Chargers victory
over the Oakland Raiders, L.T. became the 7th player in NFL history
to run, catch and throw for a touchdown in the same game.

Poised once again at the top of the league with his growing recognition
as the leagues best back, L.T. along with his high powered offense and
stingy defense are on their way to the playoffs

Here's the best quote I've ever heard about the football player L.T.

“That's pretty awesome,” center Nick Hardwick said. “It's a huge deal. I'll probably hype myself up to my (as yet unborn) kids when they think their daddy's a bum. It's just some bragging rights, be able to tell people down the road, 'Hey, I was a part of that team when LT made us look great.' ”

I like this new LT. He's so much more agreeable than the original:
