Sorry for another Stupid "Oh No, not The Noob again!" Thread, but...
I will be a GW 1.1a User in 5 Hours, thanks to Gizzmoe's Bit Torrent link.
Anyway, I would like to ask GW users: Wich Mods on top of GW 1.1a? GW 1.1a is the Up-to-Date Version, i think. So, wich Updates/Inofficiall add-ons are Reccomended?
Any Bordinstrumente Update, or is the Most Up-To-Date one already Included?

Only ones I have currently are Grey Wolves 1.1a, Fubar's U-997 VIIC skin, Mapped Convoy Routes, WazooNom, and Fubar's new Harbour Clothes.
I'm also wondering if any other good ones are out there. So many to choose from I can't decide. :)

And that all works together? Very Nice. Then i'm going to add Fubars Harbour Textures too, it's a great mod. Mapped Convoy Routes is a Big Gameplay Plus, since you don't have to mess around with the Printed map anymore. It's having a nice Place on my wall, next to my Russian Captains Cap.

IIRC Fubars Harbour Textures are already in GW1.1a. As to the Mapped Convoy Routes I dont think they are, but it shouldnt be a problem (I hope).
As a rule of thumb, anything graphical won't hurt GW... so skins and such is all ok and shouldn't change the way in which the game works.

I'm currently using the compatible Uwac 1.7 version over GW1.1a. It edits the campaign and rnd layers i believe--adds historic battles and events.
when i say compatible i mean it does not "ctd". it adds some new ships and ports--but also takes away some of the GW ports. the only noticible "visual effect" i can tell is the sunken ships are gone due to the harbor traffic changes but the offset is a lot more harbor traffic, aircraft, Task forces, and ground textures.
I enjoy the combo--(best of both mods)--but not sure how many others have tried it. And obviously if you have problems with the install--niether the creators of Uwac or GW will be able to give you fixes due to the changed files--although BBW and a few others always seem to have a solution for almost anything:D
I use only Chomu's Integrated Orders for GW, Drifter's Realism Mod v.1.01a (also known as Longer Repair Times) and a few graphic mods - Bordinstrumente 1.2, Sub Crew v.5, Officer Icon Mod etc.
