Went to u-boot realsim . What the HELL is going on there? The site has changed drasticaly since a couple years ago. I went there this morn after Subsim and my spyware blocker went off like a string of firecrackers. I ran Norton , it quarentined 3 trojans and 2 spywares. I have donated monetarily on a regular basis till it went thru that Hacking problem. I will continue to do so after some of the bigger Players that know the host of same site check it out and have a talk with said host to see how it can be fixed as this is a one stop shopping ctr for all the great mods. I'm fairly new at this and don't want this to come off offensive as that was not the intent. I sincerily want this fixed so I can go back to a great site.

I disabled my Adblocker and Popup blocker and went to the main page with Firefox and IE. I couldnīt find anything unusual, just some ads and a Adultfriendfinder tracking cookie. I then scanned the system with Adaware and Spybot, they found nothing. Either the problem is gone now or there was never a problem and Norton simply reported every unimportant and harmless cookie and Ad.

How COULD you notice the changes? :rotfl:

The site has changed drasticaly since a couple years ago.

Exactly since Friday, August 25, 2006, 6:30 pm UTC. Since them I'm officially in holidays and working 12-18 hrs per day on the site.

I went there this morn after Subsim and my spyware blocker went off like a string of firecrackers.

Maybe he thought it was new year's eve?

I ran Norton , it quarentined 3 trojans and 2 spywares.

Please forward me your Norton Log or (better!) publish it here!

I have donated monetarily on a regular basis

Thanks. But there weren't many donations at all - you can count them with your fingers, so I'm sure I know you personally...What's your real name?

till it went thru that Hacking problem.

IMHO we have a definition issue here. Yes, UBRS's index page was 'hacked' (You know, that wasn't real hacking, it was just childish) in the early summer of 06 several times, but 'hacking' has nothing to do with distributing malware (which is, btw., again completely different to CODING malware...)

np, I guarantee that simply NOT A SINGLE LINE OF MALWARE CODE is coming from (or came from...) ANY OF MY SITES.

But, one last tip, if you're 'really fairly new at this' it would be better IMHO to use your words with caution before accusing anyone...!?:D
