Moin,

can anyone tell what the SHD_shipname.obj is for? Itīs part of the shipname.dat file and seems to be the same as the shipname.obj. Where is the difference and what does the SHD file control?

It's model for Dynamic Shadows.
This simplified geometry has "shadow" material.
