2x ship reports +reinstall usins old saves help please

HI guys

i purchased a new HD so i did a new reinstall of SH3 1.4b Loaded SH3C 2.6 and GW 1.1a.

I have noticed a wiered thing i'm not sure it has happened before.............
I'm getting two messages from BDU back to back ie. first one at say 10:30am then the next at 10:30 am or if in high TC about a minute or two apart.
they say the same thing but the message only repeats itself if the subject is enemy warships ie the siting of battle ships or any very important ones etc..etc..

Also i get the messages repeating if im informed of any new bases or my own majour warships like the anoucement of the bismark etc.....

I saved the whole SH3 folder in C/program/my doc/sh3 befro i uninstalled the old copy then just pasted it into the new folder so i could play my saved games and keep my carear going what have i done wrong?

its not a big issue has this happened to any one else..........

All other messages are fine and work perfect
The folders i copied from my old game were
Careers the whole folder
Replays the whole folder
Singlemissions the wholr folder
Gameplaysettings.cfg
main.cfg
playersettings.cfg
progress.cfg
replay.cfg
save.tmp

What do i need if i do a fresh install of sh3+sh3c+GW to continue my saves and start from wear i left of any help would be welcome.....:cool:

If you are in port now the only thing you will need to save is your career folder
Unless you have made any changes to the GW1.1A basic.cfg then you will need to save a copy of that too

Thanks bigboywooly so if i here you right get into port after mission exit out .go to the defualt dir where my sh3 save is (which is different to my install i have it on another drive) save only my carer folder.delete then reinstall SH3 1.4b+SH3Commander+GW 1.1a. then add my carer folder back in thanks...................

Where ever you have instaled the game you will have a folder in my documents also
It is there your career is
Cant get to my other computer but I think path is My Documents\SH3\Data and then in another folder you will find a career folder with your current captain in
Save that career folder to somewhere else
