Is there a way for the auto ship ID to be deleted?

I would like to eliminate the ID; merchant, cargo, warship, destroyer, DE, battleship etc so the only thing it says is “ship” or nothing at all (null)
I just don't see that as auto intel.
We should not know what it is unless we can actually ID it ourselves, IMO
Is there away to do this?
