Remove enhanced seafloor mod from GW

Just installed GW and wow! Just navigating out of the harhor was a trip! :rock: However, I'd like to remove the enhanced seafloor textures to ramp up FPS. The faq says is can only be replaced manually. Is that true, and how is it done? thx!

Put these 2 .tga in this .rar

http://files.filefront.com/Stock_sea_floorrar/;5360332;;/fileinfo.html

In C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Terrain\Texture s
Overwrite the 2 already in there

Also depending on your system specs..there is a smaller size seafloor texture that is exactly the same as used in GW by default just smaller in size..actually their are 3 sizes if I am remember right.

One is for the high end video cards which is the one used by GW by default.Then there is one that is for mid-range vid cards...and one last one that is for lower end cards.

So you can get the same texture but a version that is for your setup...this way you do not have to use the stock texture.
