Hi all; When installing the Grey Wolves Mod, does it have to be done with a complete reinstall with patch, or can it be done while in base before mission?
I think I already know the answer but cringe to think of always having to start
all over again.:hmm: Thanks for your input.-I love this game-

Check the Frequently Asked Questions area on the Grey Wolves site. I believe it said to install GW on an unmodded, stock SH3 with the 1.4b patch in place.

You could try the GW install on you current SH3 while you're in port. The worst thing that could happen if it didn't run correctly would be you would need to do an uninstall of SH3 and all the remaining files, and there are some. Then reinstall SH3, install the patch and then install Grey Wolves.

I think of you go to your documents folder, take out the SH3 folder and save it. then delete all SHIII stuff and reinstall. If you then replace the SH3 folder in your documents folder, I think your career will be replaced.

That problem is typicaly due to the flottila's base being different from stock. I think if you do the mission then dock at the new base everything turns out fine.
