Hi Anvart
I know its not your mod and I thank you for pointing it out to us all here:up: as you always do

The readme is in Russian but think have got it sorted
Is there any information in the readme as where bases would have been ? To add them to the lnd layer ?

Would be interesting to see these attacking sub bases towards end of war - if I knew where to put the bases

Any help appreciated

Flags upside down but I can fix that no problem
Will have to rewrite the en_text and eqp.cfg as they Russian too

Here's the translation from Russian to English using Altavista Babel Fish. Not perfect but you get the idea. ;) I'm not sure, as I haven't tried it yet...still in patrol... but the JSGME should work to install it.

Changes in the game: Are introduced new yunity: aircraft Tu-2 and dB -3 and 100- ton patrol boat submarine chaser, is altered for real sizes and armament the patrol vessel OF SKR "hurricane". Special appreciation Herr Hunter for the consultations and conducting of tests. The sounds of the motors M-82 of Soviet aircraft are added. Is introduced into the game the heavy machine gun OF DSHK-Y2,"mm. it is added Soviet air base.

Installation: For the purpose of the size decrease mode in some folders are zaarkhivirovany the files, which have large volume. Razarkhiviruyte all files in the folders, remove archives. Prescribe in data/Air/ EnglishNames: LBSTu2=Tu-2 Dive bomber Lbsdb3=db-3 heavy bomber prescribe in data/Sea/ EnglishNames: DEBPS=SKR Destroyer escort Smallhunter=Maly1 submarine chaser 4. make reserve copies it is file from folder Library guns.DAT, guns.sim and guns.zon, and from folder Sound Sh3.sdl 5. copy files into the corresponding folders.

P.S.

The flag is not a problem.
They have tried to insert in Guns.dat new machine gun DShK.
And certainly it at them does not work.
Also it is necessary to correct Unit Type for Tu-2 (301 --> 302 Diving Bomber) in files ALB_Tu2.cfg, LBSTu2.cfg. And in file ALB_Tu2.sim turn off level_bomber (01-> 00).
I use this mod through JSGME in single mission.

BTW can any one (anvart / big boy) tell me what i should do with my aircraft models, as the stock sh3 planes are chopped up in to sections, do have to do the same with my home made models? I take it\ this for damage modelling purposes....

Anvart-did you divide your aircraft in to parts or just export them as a whole?

here are the sovjet units with some fixes (see the screenshots).

I have fixed

DEBPS:
- flag - right side up and position on the mast
- KGuns - now on deck, not in the air
- rubberboats - move up a little bit and turned arround the starboard-unit

SmalHunter:
- flag - as above
- DC-Racks - now the DC's will roll into the water - not on the deck


I have changed the armament of the DEBPS:
- "naked" Guns instead of the 4InchSingle as main battery
- one pair of 40mm Bofors Single instead of historical correct 37mm guns
- one pair of DSHK-heavy machinegun
- the other guns set to NULL in the eqp-file
- III-set of 21 inch torpedos
and some corrections in the log-files, depending on data from the 1940 issue of "Weyers Taschenbuch der Kriegsflotten"
(similar to "Jane's Warship of the World"). Displacement is 700 t. The names of the sovjet units (DEBPS) as kown 1940 are in the DEBPS.cfg file in
the "Roster/Russia/Sea"-folder (15 shipnames).

As you can see above, i diont changed anything in the guns.dat, -.sim and -.zon.
So the MG DSHK is still out of work. Perhaps i will clone the guns.dat to guns1.dat and replace one smal 20mm gun with the DSHK and see if it works.

I have eliminated a mistake and now MG DShK is completely functional.
