Hi,
just installed GW and AIL Das Boot Officers,Crew Cheers German and InternalLife v1.2 mods over it. Is there known compatibility issues on these as i noticed that i cant get weather report, other reports are there but weather 'button' is missing. Also why sometimes when you dive and had full crew on diesel engine room, only part of crew goes to electric engines, and visa versa, usually one or two of men stay behind?

Also was planning to install original underwater sightrange mod, is this compatible with GW?

Heh, have to say ships are sometimes very tough to sink in GW, had one medium cargo that could take 6 torpedos, several 88 deckgun shells and plenty of AA fire before sinking, almost lost my fate when trying sink it :o

Hi Stellar,

First off, the German Crew Cheers mod and the Internal Life v1.2 mods are ALREADY included in GW... You don't need to add these mods over GW.

The weather report button now belongs to the watch officer and is functional only when he is on the bridge. (The navigator of course shouldn't be able to give a weather report while submerged.)

The original underwater sight range mod is not compatible however you can use the SH3 Commander program to alter it.

Regarding what crewmen shift to different compartments during a dive... we have not modded that. Whatever happened with crew shuffling while diving in stock SH3... is what happens in GW.

Ships in GW often take much longer to sink in GW 1.1 as they sink by flooding. When using the deck gun... aim below the water line. When using torpedoes... try to hit more than one section of the hull. Repeated hits in the same spot do not decrease sinking times by much.
