I am having trouble with my observation periscope staying up. I am playing gw latest version with 1.4 patch. no other mods. using a IX d sub, happened to check exterior view and saw obs periscope up "yeah, hi destroyers, here I am!". tried to lower it but it keeps raising itself. tried both on keyboard as well as at obs periscope station. has this bug been seen before? anything I can do?

This is naspa :(. Still....I usually don't use the observation scope...One reason would be that my keyboard doesn't have an "insert" key, and I find it difficult to click the appropriate lever in the game.


But I have no idea about what could be causing your problem....

I just checked this and have had no problems raising or lowering the periscopes on the IXD2.

At any rate, the GW team did not modify the key commands to raise or lower them.

my keyboard works fine, the bug just popped up during a mission. kind of annoying as it seems to greatly increase my visability to my potential prey and their guardians.....

Check to see if a "Ctrl" key is stuck.

Windows, too, does that sometimes. Acts as if Alt or Shift or whatever is pressed and held down. Really annoying, but a restart fixes it.

Yes had it wit my T key the other month - even unplugging the keyboard didnt stop it so had to reboot but didnt have it on restart - or again

Yes it could be a windows glitch too, sometimes windows gets stupider then usual and "sticks" a key down. *censored* windows :damn:

Of course my all time favorite windows glitch is when windows for some unfathomable reason decides a file or folder is in use when it is most definatly not (and thus refuses to let me delete it).
