Hi all...

Is there any way to increase the maximun officers quantity ?

In the Data ->Cfg folder there's a bunch of specific crew cfg's for each type of u-boat (II-VII-IX-XII).I think that the crew there is the standard crew you get when starting with the boat.Maybe you could add an extra officer on the ship by modifying those files so that you start with how many officers you want.Correct me if i'm wrong please.

I believe the NYGM mod has an extra officer on the IIa sub (5 instead of 4) if i remember correctly so it should be possible. although i might be wrong. (never trust a noob=me:D )

It is into the Basic.cfg file...

You must to look for :

[SUBMARINE0] (type II)
[SUBMARINE1] (type VII)
[SUBMARINE2] (type IX)
[SUBMARINE3] (type XXI)

In example here for all type IX, i you want to increse Officers.... just edit

Was the disappearing 5th Officer ever fixed by GW or NYGM? Mine has been AWOL for the last 10 patrols. I figure he's been sent to the Russian front. ;)

You can also decrease the minimum crew too if you like, on a couple of the sub types i droped the minimum crewmen required because i didnt want or need all that crew (and had no place to stick them other then the torp rooms which would tire them out for nothing). Plus having crew in the torpedo rooms when not in use made keeping their fatigue down a major hastle.

I also always wished i could increase the officer bunks (or make officers like normal crew) Managing 5 officers with only 2 bunks for all of them is another pain.
