So here we go. Downloading GW is not so easy.

Grey Wolves Mod and the Tonnage Mod are temporarily unavailable through Subsim. Our major mods section has reached its bandwidth limit.
OK then head on over to Grey Wolves website and use the mirror. Which I did only to find out that the files are not resumable. Just to make it even more painful the download runs at 6k/sec. Whoa a 175M file that's not resumable running at 6k/s. So I run three downloads at once. Later, hours latter I see I'm well over 100 megs on each with the top one closing in on 145. Then...what's that mate?...a fish coming right for us. Blown right out of the water. Mirror down all night.

You can also download it via Bittorrent:

Or pay $1 to subsim for fast-track download. I did that and it worked fine.

Didnt know about the fasttrack d/l! I would have done that had I known but I went through the mirror. Ran about 6kbps for me as well, but the mod is pretty cool I have to say! I'm impressed, after playing the almost stock version occasionally since it's release this is a heck of an improvement! My tonnage scores have definitely been reduced to a more realistic figure which I'm very happy about. It all seemed too easy before, not anymore!

I also d/l'ed the nygm mod but I cant seem to find a way to make it install. It appears to be compressed with a .7z file extension. Anyone know what I should do to make it work?

Unpack it with 7-Zip (http://www.7-zip.org) or WinRar (http://www.rarlab.com (http://www.rarlab.com/)).

Sorry we have to throttle down occasionally but at 700MBs, GW is so big it will use up all our allotted bandwidth on the downloads server in just a week or so. Last month we went 300GB over our max before I knew it, that was an extra $900 ($3 per GB over the limit).

I am exploring new opportunities for an additional server, maybe we can get this set up to be a full time download,

thanks
Neal
