Plane engine sounds.......

Are there some good plane engine sounds ?

Those i have seems more a grass cutter than planes...

Cans ome body upload some good sounds ?

I agree aircraft sounds are not so well-made.See if you can find anything here : http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/ .They have some sound-packs maybe some have aircraft sound included.

No problem:).I have and ideea...maybe someone that has IL2-Sturmovik (another gr8 sim by Ubisoft:) )can record the engine sounds of the aircraft from that game (or similar aircraft ,because i think some aircraft in SH3 is not present in IL2 now),because the sound is very good in IL2.You can hear even the smalles difference between two types of engine that is hardly even noticable in real life.I have the game but have no ideea as how to transfer the files from one game to another and make them work so if i tried myself i would probably end up crashing the game:(.It would be awsome if someone could make those sounds for SH3.

All you need to do is look at the sound files and see what type they are. If they are .wav then they can be transferred to SHIII with no problem. If any other format then they need to be changed with a sound editor such as GoldWave www.goldwave.com (http://www.goldwave.com)

I would be glad to do it but I currently can't get to my computer (which also means I'm not playing right now, but that's something I have to live with for a while).

Hi Enaceo and Sailor Steve.... yah... my IL2 installation was the first place i gone to look for these sounds... but sadly i was unable to found them it seems they are compresed/ packed into some kind of file. :down:

No experience with IL2. :hmm:

Yea i can't seem to find them either they might be packed in some sort of file(like on Steam games they use CGF's )
