I was using TTs tweak tool and discovered to my dismay that the values in many tweak files are very different in NYGM Tonnage war 2.01.

While doing a dive test, I found that a type VIIC could dive 150m below its crush depth and only very slowly, take hull integrity damage. Went to the tweak file, and discovered that the Crash speeds were altered to the values of 0.02 instead of 2 which is in vanilla version and RuB.

Also checked AI sensor file, and discovered that all sensor values are on the order 3.857E-14???:o :o

Is this by design, or did I dowload a corrupted copy of NYGM Tonnage war??

I believe the crush/crash depth changes are by design to avoid the light switch insta-crush behavior from before.

The sensor file offsets were also changed - info in this thread.

I have the latest version of NYGM...I think its 2.01z, I also believe the sensor file was changed in this version.

I have not tested the effects these changes have on escorts yet.....

Regarding the Crash speeds: I think its more realistic for quicker damage, once the pressure hull goes, the boat is doomed and quickly:yep:

So, I guess its Ok??:hmm:

I don't understand the question, I already answered that 2.0 changed these items. If you are specifically asking if your copy is not corrupt, the partial answer is that these things do not indicate corruption, but neither do they guarantee lack of corruption.

If it works its probably ok, but might not be. :rotfl:

As for the "when the pressure hull goes" comment: This config addresses the process that snowballs a weakness towards sudden critical failure. Your description is limited to the end point of the entire process (quickly doomed).
