View Full Version : How to get rid of ambient music?

So apart from turning down the volume to nothing, is there any way to get rid of the really annoying music that comes with SH3? Like when you get close to an enemy it plays I think "high tension blabla" music, or when you're just sailing with no targets in sight the normal grammophone tune. I don't like that, when I press stop in the grammophone screen, I want no music at all... Is that taken care of with the checkbox in the soundoptions? Last time I did this I had no music at all IIRC, whether I ordered the grammophone to play something or not.

I could of course replace all the ambient music with empty sound files, because I think deleting them wouldn't be a good solution, would maybe screw something up if I did this. Any tips?

I check the no music option and still have my gramophone when required. The no music option seems to just kill the 'soundtrack music'.
