Germany is a country not a race, therefore it is not a racist remark.For those who actually still consider humans different races, perhaps. From a biological point of view, since we have common ancestry, we're all the same race.

Anyways, "racism" has come to refer to dislike of a nationality as much as a "race".

Nope, we're all the same species. The term race exists but is being replaced by the term continent of ancestry due to political controversy.
