Japanese I400 class

Anyone got any ideas for this? I wonder why there's still no jap subs.

Are you asking why there are no playable Japanese subs in SH3? Or why there are no AI Japanese subs in SH3? Or both?

I think the answer to both questions is obvious. Basically, not too many Japanese subs ventured into the territory that SHIII primarily models/covers. I think even the most realism adverse player would have a hard time accepting an I400 in downtown Wilhelmshaven.

Plus, the I400 class, whilst being an impressively big sub that could sail all over the world, was really a non event, in addition to not even first sailing until effectively after the war in Europe was over (or at the earliest April 1945).

Anyway, the SH3 imposed design and implementation issues alone would make this an unfeasible task.

You're prolly better off visiting the SHIV forum and seeing what is planned for it...
