How do I change the AI in Silent Hunter III, please?

Has not been changed yet. Seems to be hardcoded.

Never say never, though!

What IS changed, though is the means which the AI percieves its environment, ie the sensors (radar, hydrophone, ASDIC, visual etc.). This way the AI can have a different understanding of the surroundings and the enemy (us, that is) and therefore have differentiated behavior.

1-man what VH was saying is you can lessen or alter the effectiveness of AI with Time Traveler's tweak tools. (Translation from the original Greek!:rotfl: )

Although I would run a search of the subject here as one can makes things worse or impotent if this is not done correctly, whatever that is!

This has been done in different ways or degrees by RUB, GW and NYGM as well as others.
