Hi there!

Been playing NYGM2.0 and have a lot of fun with it!
Thanks for this exellent mod. You guys brought SH3 to the next level for me and it feels very realistic compared to the orginal or other mods I tried.
Well done!

I've got a question to the moders though.

Heres my little problem:

The Crew is looking 16Km day and night.
For me the nights are to dark on my monitor.
So I altered the "Sky_atl1.tga" of the "SkyColors_Atl.dat" file.
A basicaly changed the color of the first quadrat (uper row) into a brighter blue and removed the black dot on it. So I see nicely at night ...unfortunately, during daytime I can't see ships at 16K anymore.
What do I wrong here?

Tryed all mods but they doesend help;
changing gamma settings on the monitor doesent help at all.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance and Happy hunting!

I was told in the Wolves at War forum that there will be a light and dark version of the 16Km included in NYGM 2.1 when it comes out.

You can have a better night silouette contrast changing the Upper Left square in both files, Sky_Atl.tga for the sky and Reflex_Atlantic.tga for the sea surface.

But the main effect will be due to the clouds texture, if you use a dense cloud texture you will have a dark night, if you have not any cloud at all you will have a more clear night.

Try using not too dense clouds texture, or a broken sky texture.

I store this screen shot from time ago, you can arrive up to this clear night level playing with the files.

Finally i finish into a medium way level.
