I would like to know which is the very best AI? Grey Wolves?, Improves U-boat?
Sorry by my poor english
ALARMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!
dive dive dive---carefull now..
be better to start of by describing what it is you don't like about the AI as it is...other wise all heck might break loose
sorry sounded a bit rough..
do you want the A to be tougher? etc?
ok no ones replyied so i'll have a go--
most AI mods come as part of the variuos supermods available grey wolves NYGM etc etc both huge downloads if your on a modem and or just want an AI mod--so at the risk of promoting my own
go to my site
download the "tinyiest super mod" this is an AI mod ...very small download --works
wether any one considers any mod the "best" is subjective tho
this mod provides very dynamic escorts with a large increase in difficulty
but without the problems that come from long DC attacks--not every-one has the time for 5 hour DC attacks--i certainly don't--doesn't mean i don't enjoy effective and dynamic convoy escorts tho-- :ping:
There's no AI mod, since technically all AI routines are hardcoded. There are sensor modes, though, which alter how well the enemy can detect you.
For this, my recommendation has to be strongly with NYGM Tonnage War 2.0 right now.

...and your solution is also commendable :)
I played with Destroyer Aggression for about 4 months myself; ultimately I decided it was a bit too hard and consistent. In that sense, NYGM responded to my main concerns about nicely, but I can see that there's still other ways to tackle the issue.

Cheers--your right..:yep:
I felt the same way about the agression mod---in the end i gave up on it--but I was asked to write a better version ..which i did...but it was rejected so i had to release it my self- what else can a poor modder do i ask lol -
much better--managed to find a way of combining the subtlety of the stock set up with the difficulty of the agression mod---works a treat--
reccomended for folks who for what ever reason don't want to use a full blown super mod set up--
it's nice to see that detection meter (if one chooses to use it) flickering thru all the colours of the detection "rainbow" again ..
you just never know what the escorts are going to do--which helps make the gameplay dynamic-- but give them a inch and your in real trouble--but mainly they prevent you from doing your job--which is sinking merchants
i set it up so this wasn't a hugely time consuming process---(i dont have the time)
so when the escorts attack they get in get the job done and get out again fairly quickly--
combined with the right damage set up this more than does the trick-
