As my computer crashed when I was in patrol 30, it seems that the promotion I gave to a Warrant to Sr.Warrant Officer has been lost. Can I just use SH3 Commander to fix the problem without starting a new patrol yet as I am not ready to start a new patrol yet.

You shouldnt make any changes mid patrol - I believe it says that on sh3commander

I just returned to my base on Sunday, January 31, 1943. Can I use Commander to correct the promotion error to the warrant officer without having to begin a new patrol as I'm not ready yet to begin a new patrol.

If he is enough experienced you can promote him. Just try it - Cmdr will give you an answer itself.

You can actually do it yourself,open the .cfg file in my docs and edit it off hand I don't know which one it is but they are all there.
