is there any subs you can track?
In the GW mod there is some friendlies, but are there any that arent?
Is there a mod for such a thing?
Even changing say the generic small merchant to enemy sub would make things a little more interesting..
just a thought, any ideas?

No, no, no, no and no. Sorry, but there are no enemy subs in the game. Maybe after SHIV they'll open up the code and we can put them in ourselves.

Some time ago I made a mod which adds the S-class sub to SH3 both in surfaced and submerged versions http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=85314. The mod is available for download at http://www.u-boot.realsimulation.com/. However, to get them in the campaign, you need to script them in. It is kind of fun to track down the submerged enermy sub. These subs are planned to be introduced in the next version of the U-boat War Ace by Travinski.
I still need to find some time to replace the diesel motor sound by that of electric for the submerged version.

SH1 often had Japanese submarines running on the surface that could be attacked. I don't see why an enemy sub cannot be modeled as a surface warship. The Surcouf would make a nice fat target.
