Hello,

I am not a normal mod maker but I was was thinking....
(one of my more dangerous past-times)

Is there a easy way to change the default U-boat for the 2nd flotilla in 1939 to the ixb?

I am using a host of mods, the largest being real u-boat.

I figure that way if you start with the 1st you get the IIa
the 7th will get you the VIIb
and the 2nd will get you the IXb
so picking your flotilla will also be picking your boat. By the time I work up enough reknown to buy a ixb the ixc is only months away, so there is really no reason to get one. Any help would be great.

Change the avialablity date in the basic.cfg to 1939.

IXB already has 1939 ammo entries, so you dont ahve to add any, just change the availalbity date to 1939, month 10 (im guessing) and your done.

SH3Cmdr, with the "Correct U-boat availability dates" option checked, will allow you to start a career in the 2nd Flotilla with the IXB from Oct 1939. And the IXC from Jan 1941.
