Made this mod for use in realistic map mode but I guess it can be used in any mode.

v1.1 UPDATE!!!!!!!
made the icons a darker, less neon color. easier on the eyes
on the night maps.

Adds draggable icons and compass to nav and tdc maps.

they are fixed to screen and not to the map. So if you zoom in/out or move the map , the bearings to your boat will be lost.

However you can use the compass as a minimap and put the icons on it.

your direction, on the bearing compass, of travel is up ..0 degrees ..and the icons are ships at true bearings to you. So in the above pic if you are going south the ships are in front right of you. :hmm: YOU get the idea...... SO you can move the map or zoom and the icons still have true bearings to you.

OR you can use the circle icon to center your boat. Zoom drag map...then just recenter boat in circle.

Great for Submerged contacts, DCing attacks.
Been using diamonds as Warships.
Circle and square and be anything...... merchant, closest ship , battleship, carrier, convoy.... you're the Cap'n.

HAPPY HUNTING

I can see how this could be very usefull during DC attacks and/or convoy shadowing.....i'll try it tonight. Any possible conflicts with NYGM we should be aware of ?

Cheers....

Iam not sure. Iam on dialup so I havnt D/L any of the supermods due to their size.

If any changes have been made to your "menu_1024_768.ini" file by any other mods then you will have to rename the blocks in this mod.

I have so info in the readme file/
