Enhancement to Kriegsmarine *3 new ships*

I just cloned 3 units with sansal´s tool.
All these units will appear in "U-Boat War Ace Campaign 1.7".
The K-Class cruiser isn´t really the one which looks like the original but since serbuto has finished his mod this can be used.

Fiji CLass Light Cruiser!
There has also been the "Light Cruiser mod" by Commander1980 but his model did not work properly with other cruisers of this class together.

It just so happens i put a post in the general Silent Hunter thread about what ships people have and posted a list of mine - am sure there are some out there i dont have

Whatever happened to Greg Law's CFS3 K-Class accurate model?

I thought Serg was converting it to SH3 with some of Greg's other important ships like the M-Class minesweeper/escort (perhaps the most important ship after U-Boats in useful service in WWII by the K-M)

I was making these to match the HOOD as well, since I want to release my capital ships mod v2.

Here's an example of KGV class, judge it yourself, it's in high resolution skin, with much better detail then my previous ones (like the rodney you u are modifying, that skin is not very good at all, it has repeating pattern of rust which I didn't bother removing - i suggest if you modify my skin, try to fix the mistakes, not simply change contrast.. and dont forget the alpha channels ;))...

PS. I plan to redo the turret textures as well, the GW ones are not to my liking at all, they look plasticky.

Since these are my first steps in cloning ships and working with textures I have no more capacities to do better skins.
I did the contrasts because I wanted the difference of those ships to recognize by the first eye on them.

i'll show some shots of rodney with reworked high res skin, I think you will like it then much more. Plus with new camouflage if it works ok, i haven't tried the new camo yet. I suspect it's not gonna tile very will, but will try anyhow.

I have installed the three ships but the K-class cruiser is giving me a crash to desktop. Anyone else experiencing this? :-? Keep up the good work guys.

If the K class cruiser is crashing the game, then try cloning the .dat file with Pack3d. :yep: That has sometimes been the problem before.
