There are certain Mods that I have trouble Downloading. For instance the 22.1Mb Gramaphone Mod. It usually only goes to about 11-14 MB and just finishes, then the Zipfile is currupt. There are some others, like the Courseresolver that diwnload all the way but, wont unzip. The Sound Mod with Tipperary, I cant finish Downloading either.

Can anyone help? Im dying to hear that "its a long way to tipperary" on my Uboat while im beaing Depth Charged.

I used to have that problem & now all runs well, I am sure it was a setting in Zone Alarm to do with cookies "Remove private header information" had to be unticked, just for a test set all Cookies to on, if downloads work you can then fiddle around!
Hope this helps. :yep:

Tried that and it still does the same thing. I set it to accept all cookies and the one you mentioned was already unticked.

If you are being DCed it might be best not to play the grammaphone. I can't say so with authority...but I suspect that doing so helps the game's AI Destroyer control pinpoint your position....as would have been the case in real life. Anyway...it has been my experience that not playing the grammaphone helps me slink away much more easily.

I don't think the grammaphone has any effect in the game, but I sure concentrate on escaping a lot better with the *$&%^# thing turned off!

If your using ZoneAlarm there is another thing you check/try, Goto:
Internet Options - Connections - Select your account/settings - Properties - Advanced and make sure the top box is unticked, since ZoneAlarm is your firewall you donot need a double wall. :)
You may already know this, and clutching at straws, but blowed if I know what I did to fix it, will keep pondering!
Cheers.

Edit. I think I know the answer, I have a DLink modem DFM-560E and having download speed problems & dropouts after a lot of tests done by our phone company, came up with an extra string to put in: Control Panel - Phone & modem options - Modems - Properties - advanced & had the string +MS=11,,,28800 S202=128 put in, this modem has a Rockwell chipset & may not help your case but you may get some hints from your manual, certainly after this was done my speed went from around 1k to 4 k and no dropouts. ;)

I dont have zone alarm. Ive never had any other Download issues with my internet service. Im clueless. The Smaller mods available all seem to download, with a few exceptions.

Is there a way to contact the Host Site about it, for some Tech Help?
