6.7???

The only Grey Wolves I've seen are the original and the update-1.1.

Now I'm even more confused than usual.

I have no idea. hopefully Kpt Lehman will see this and comment soon. He's the main GW guy and can give better advice.

I actually use bits and pieces from several mods; sort of a do-it-yourself Unified mod.

1. Read the readme's

2. Check here for the official thread

http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=50034

Just to be on the safe side, unzip in the mods folder the 6 parts and then install via JSGME. Run the game too see if everything is OK. Then unzip the 1.1 GW patch and install again via JSGME.

Okay, now I get it. Codmander, it's not 6.7, it's part 6, and it's a 7z, or 7 Zip file. If you use it that way you do need to download all six parts. The update is 1.1, but is also in 7z format.

If you get it from www.u-boot.realsimulation.com you should get the entire thing in one compressed package (at least that was the case with the original), and only have to get the update separately.

Sorry for the confusion, and I hope this explains things.

Did you unzip them? You can install each 'Data' folder right into the main SHIII folder and you shouldn't have any problems.

Hi Codmander,

delete the "SH3" folder in your "My Documents" and re-start the game.

Also, there is no "all-in-one" install file.

GW is somewhat demanding in the graphics and sound department and requires that your system meets the "recommended specs" to run GW.

I don't like telling you this, but you need a faster CPU and at least 1 gig of RAM... preferably dual channeled in BIOS to run GW comfortably. I'm not familiar with your graphics card but SH3 recommended specs also call for a 256mb card.

That being said... you can often run SH3 on "lesser than recommended" machines...

However, GW adds 1.8 gb worth of data for your machine to crunch. From what I can tell, your machine is choking on it.

I have been there my friend... and I sympathize completely.

bummer the size of sh3 is quite bigger with gw so that maybe it unless files arent gettin replaced or somthin guess i will stick with rub a dub till this pc blows ups :-?
