Hi, AG124.
What can you tell about ShipWake?
Anvart :hmm:
I've never been able to move the wake of any ship. With the Rose Castle, that wasn't really a problem though.

Great image sequence. :yep:
The vessel does seem to break in two and capsize quite often. I haven't seen her sink in one piece yet. :hmm:

What nations do people recommend get this? So far I hve American, British, Norway, Netherland, and of course Canadian. Mabee Panama and France as well? :hmm:
I would recommend the following nations:
- US
- UK
- Canada
- Greece
- Norway
- Netherlands
- France
- Japan
The following nations would have had some, but probably not many:
- Panama
- Russia
- Germany
- Sweden
And maybe the following nations (but not sure):
- Australia
- Spain
- Portugal
- Ireland
- Argentina
This is a pretty generic looking 7,000 GRT freighter, so it should be assigned to a variety of nations.
BTW - I got an e-mail asking for an ID image with no zones. Here is one, if anyone else wants one.

I have, the NYGM one. One hit between the foreward crate piles and another just aft the stack. Slowly rolled starboard, capsized, and went down in about 35 min. Very Nice. This is an outstanding add-on ship overall. The UV problems are less serious than with the others. Great job.

What about a low contrast, without the hit zone colors? ;)
What about a low contrast, without the hit zone colors?
OK. To about what level should I reduce the contrast?
... I also have to move the ship's wake - I have tried moving the node point
(I know which node point to use) but the wake doesn't seem to move. ...
2 AG124.
If it is necessary for you, I could give you some
the information on adjustment ShipWake.
Anvart :hmm:
Here is a low contrast ID image - please let me know if it is alright.

Anvart, I would indeed like some advice on moving ship wakes - the Chatham model needs its wake moved astern somewhat. :hmm:
2 AG124.
Sorry my english.
I was engaged in introduction of several submarines in game SH3,
and I had to adjust ShipWake.
All written below it my own ideas and my terminology.
ShipWake
Adjustment ShipWake is made in a file *****.val.
1) Parameter "FollowShipDistance" defines coordinate of the beginning
of the subsequent trace on water (transition ShipWake in a trace).
2) Parameter "FollowShipVTextureCoordinate" defines displacement of a texture,
for example: siaj_submarin.tga, along an axis of the ship.
3) Parameter "StartParameters-->LeftVertex(RightVertex)-->StartPosition":
a) the first parameter defines ShipWake width
b) the second parameter defines position of ShipWake beginning
Adjustment:
- on items 1 and 2 ShipWake end is adjusted
- on item 3 ShipWake beginning is adjusted

Fine, but can you get rid of Keel: {blue box}, Propulsion {green box}, etc? I have no image editing software myself. Thanks.
BTW, thank you for deciding to release this. :yep: I think it looks quite representative of 1940s ships in that the stack does not run through the superstructure, like on the C2 and C3.
In response to Anvart's steps - Thank you very much. I will check that out tomorrow to see if I can fix the Chatham a bit for a new release.
To Booger 2005 - I can't believe I forgot those boxes. :damn: I will get rid of them first thing tomorrow. :yep:
EDIT: Never mind - I have it done now.

Thank you very much for this wonderful ship AG124. I probably cannot imagine the hard work and frustration that goes into producing these models. I will hugely enjoy blowing her up!
