[Mod release] Radio room poster girls - "NSFW"

Several pinupgirls for the poster in the radio room!
All selected and created by Carotio!

The first 42 of the posters are modern images
The last 40 of the posters are socalled "vintage" photos, that is the photos were made between 1900 and 1945!

When you have chosen any of the posters, look at the files with ACDsee or Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photo Shop to choose, or at the index files with the windows previewer, then rename the chosen file to druck_radio_7, if you use a VII uboat, to druck_radio_9, if you use a IX uboat, and to druck_radio_21, if you use a XXI uboat!

The reason for putting a poster on the wall in 1940 is probably the same as it is today - to make the viewer forget for a short moment that a war is going on! And erotic photos is one good thing for that! :up:

But should I create some posters with cute pictures of small teddy bears instead? :lol:

I prefer 1940's pinpus myself. Nude or not, i dont care.
Its just more in flavor to the era. Looking at a modern day centerfold just sort of breaks the immsersion factor for me. Color photography wasnt very widespread back then. If the pinup was in color, it was probably drawn.

You can get fired at some places if they think your looking at nudes for whatever reason.

Seriously though, id be a liar if i said i didn't think the women of that era weren't attractive. At least in dealing with pinups published in the US. Ive no idea about european ones, i dont think ive ever seen any. I'll wager they'd be alot more resque then US ones though.

Your children will eventually be exposed to this.. It is the harsh reality. You can be as careful as you want with the internet but a child so sheltered will get a reality check when he gets older and doesnt know what his freinds are talking about. Besides, i saw my first pronographic material at school when somebody brought a cartoon sex drawing of Jasmine to school, lol. I remember that vividly. But thankfully my parents rasied me well and i wasnt horrified when i saw the picture.
I remember a child who was homeschooled because of the parents similar attutides in this forum and the children cried when he say a porn!! Sad to say he was made fun of for the rest of his public school all the way to high school life because he lacked the social skills.... :down: :down: BAD parenting...

BTW, funny to read the difference between those with same holiness, religious behaviour and mental attitude of George W Bush. Total abstinence and protection from erotic, porn and sex in general will only result in the kids desperately trying to explore themselves! A natural attitude towards the body and sex from the parents side will help the children getting along with other children and later people of their own generation, instead of one day being the subject of a film like "the 40-year-old virgin"..... :lol:

As i said above, for me its not a question of ethics. I like to see naked women so i have no problem with that, and I think the majority of the people in here dont have a problem with that either. But, it was a question about how far are we going with this pinpup thing without screwing up the feeling and realism. Personally i dont like it.
And to set a note here: You have the right to post your work for download and members have the right to accept and download it or simply refuse it. They have the right to express their oppinions about it though.

I think some have a strange point on Morality, first the thumbs are so small you realy don't see much at all and what you see is harmless as most children did see their Mom nude before (if not then that's stupid ).

I for myselfe don't care because i don't have the time to look at the Pin Up when at the Hydro cause i have to concentrate on what i want to hear so the whole discussion about which set New or Old it should be is useless. Every one should install the one He personaly like and that's it.

I was around to see some of the "art" of the period...like someone above already mentioned, if it was a photo it was prbably B&W. If in color...a drawing...

...one other thing, women have not changed since the 40's...they're still as beautiful as issued, the only thing different is the hair-styles and the quality of the photos.

It's a cultural thing i think, don't ask me why, i dunno. The US has always traditionally been more conservative with anything "adult". Europe has always been more, open with sex. You can tell the difference by just watching US TV commericals and some European TV commercials. The funny thing is were so quick to show gun shootouts, explosions, dead bodies, and autopsy's on TV.. but sex...OHHHHH better cover that up! :doh:

I have nothing against vintage paintings or even black and white vintage pictures. Simulating what some sailors might have posted up back on a U-boat.

Sorry but where is your tolerance for other Ppl. ?? If you don't like to look at them then don't do it. But there is no reason to make this mod bad or evil. I don't know who you are (age, konvession) but let me tell you that i did serve in the Army aswell and even we could go home over the weekend (yes we are that human here LOL ) we did talk about Girls and did hang pics up where possible just accept it in some places it's normal when men are together for some time.
