I´ve just started to figure out all the physical values you can change in SH3 with some digging into the code, so i thought about the sub behaviour when surfaced and did some minor tweaking. Its in very early alpha stage, so don´t expect a miracle, but at least you can see something.

Brilliant discovery, I have never really noticed that before looking at the vid. It looks much better with your physic tweak.
Is the view from bridge just as different?

Nice. I presume that you fiddled with the .sim files.
Did you add +0,5 m in gc_height variable? It has some impleasant effects when DC'd (u-boat goes like a pendlum for several minutes)
Did you play with the fr_ratio? How does the u-boat look submerged. Is it OK?
Did you reduce the drag in the front dive planes? What is your dive time? (not crash dive).
