I was wondering last night if anyone had tried to edit the preset crew positions that result from pressing the action buttons on the crew management/dammage F7 screen. There are 6 buttons, 3 for surface stations and 3 for submerged. Would it be possible to edit these buttons to suit your own preset crew positions so that with one mouse click you can do things like instantly move your watch crew from the bow torpedo to the electrics instead of having to do it maunally. If I knew what I was doing I would have a go at it, the possibilities are endrass( sorry :ping: )for setting up custom crew configurations to assist in watch changes or various situations. Does anyone know if it's possible?
Interesting idea, but is it possible?

This was brought up a long time ago and the concensus then was that it was "hard-coded" somewhere.

Ah bummer.... Because of the crew arrangement I use those functions are useless to me since when I press surface cruise mode say for example, crew from the stern compartments whose job is to operate the engines may get sent topside on watch duty. It's a shame it's hard-coded. It would be a sweet litte mod to have.

I'd love to see an "Assign to Watch" function with several options for 8-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, etc. Something like checking a box within the individual crew member's description box - but, apparently, this isn't something that is "moddable."
