Grey Wolves/SH Commander Maquis Question......

Had something strange happen to me last night. I was in between patrols, just about to start number 2 in my present career. I had rolled back SH Commander and uninstalled it to upgrade to version 2.5 and added the Armed Trawler fix at the same time. When I loaded up the game and went to start my next patrol as soon as the loading screens had finished I got a message from my Chief Engineer telling me the Starboard diesel was destroyed. And this while in port?!? I was wondering if this was sabotage by the French Resistance (I'm based in Lorient in mid '43), as there was some discussion regarding this concept being modelled in fairly recent times. Does anyone know if this is part of the new version of SH Commander or if this is a random variable of the GW mod??? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

And let me guess, you're in an IXC or IXC/40?

To summarise the above thread, apparently changing:

IXC=NSS_Uboat9c|x2C43|275
IXC/40=NSS_Uboat9c|x2C43|275

in "Miscellaneous.cfg" to:

IXC=NSS_Uboat9c|x3007|275
IXC/40=NSS_Uboat9c|x3007|275

helps.

Yep, at least an IXC.

Even with this fix you may still get the message if you are currently mid-patrol but it should be gone when you start your next patrol. Apparently, despite the message, the engine is not actually destroyed, so it's nothing to worry about.

If you are in port before a patrol, you shouldn't see the message any more.
