I've done a fresh install (a couple of times now) of SH3 and 1.4b. I've then started up the game to make sure that it runs fine...it does.
I've installed the Grey Wolves mod using both the JSGME method and just dropping into the "data" folder and neither wants to load up correctly. Either way I througth the opening video and then the Grey Wolves splash screen. The red bar moves to about half way and then stops and a screen opens up saying SH3 needs to shut down. I notice the file is "simdata.dll" that it seems to get stuck at.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to go and how to get there ? :)

Sounds to me you didn't get all the packages. Did you check if you have all the 5 (or 6) GW packages?

Hi guys, there are six packages. Also, make sure you delete or re-name your "SH3" folder in "My Documents" before running GW.

This happened to me last night, it was because I missed package 6 when I was downloading.

I had done all suggestions from you guys from the get go...I re downloaded the 6 segments of GW and unpacked it and reinstalled everything (for like the 4th-5th) and "it finally runs."
What a relief... My question now is can I use Sub Commander 2.5 and didn't there use to be a high resilution fix that one could apply?
If not then it's no biggie...I'll just get ready to go out and get sunk a couple times.
Remember...if one runs out of torpedos....you can always try ramming the darn ships :)
Don't troble yoursellf , i've done that the first time, in fact i think a lot off people has done that, with the rush to play and try out the mod...hehehe :rotfl:
Yes, you can use SHIII Commander 2.5 with Grey Wolves.
