Hi All:

I've just done a clean re-install of SH3 and patched to 1.4b. I added Commander 2.5 plus the ship skins as well as RUB1.45. All was done without a hitch - or so I thought.

I have background music and such. But after assigning a task to a crew member, I do not get a voice response. I don't get any kind of verbal feedback even if's crew deriven such as: "Ship spotted".

I've searched the forum and also read and re-read the read me files for the mods and can find nothing that would offer any assistance. So I'm turning to you folks.

I'm not sure what the issue is: maybe the clean re-install of SH3 wasn't so "clean"? I appreciate your time in responding to my question.

Was it answered by the SH3Cmdr FAQ.html - ie "Q: Since using SH3 Commander I can no longer hear speech or most sound effects. What sound files does SH3 Commander overwrite?"?? ;)
