I'v been playing for quite some time and just now to the point where I have begun looking for major mods rather than the few minor flavor mods I had been using.

Having read through several forums and looking through/downloading more mods than I can possibly use I'm trying to narrow them down.

My problem is I can't find anywhere that lists what mods are compatible with each other, or more importantly incompatible. I'm using JSGME which is nice to tell me when mods deal with the same file but I wouldn't know if theres a workaround for it or some other way to have them both.

I feel GW is on the top of my list since it has most of the mods I would have installed by themselves. So going from GW what can I install to go along with it?

I'v seen NYGM + GW combination mentioned, and a combined campaign, but I havn't seen it listed on exactly how to go about installing both of these mods together.

SH3 Commander I have installed so not sure what this is compatible with either.

Other mods I am installing with GW/SH3 Cmdr are:

Merchant Mod (3 of them)

TreeMod

Wazoo's Precision Range Mod

JIRM Rec Manuals

Integrated Orders (not sure what I can/can't install with this one but would really like it)

SH3Cmdr is compatible with everything.

Great, I'm really liking it so far. Though I can't seem to figure out how to (or if I am supposed to) add qualifications/medals to crew at the start of a career or change crew names. I save in port and exit the game, open SH3 and change crew names/qualifications then launch the game and they are the same as before.

Aside from SH3 I am assuming nothing is going to conflict with each other so what other mods do you all use and love that are compatible with the ones I am using?

You have to run 1 patrol first. Then, after returning to port, exit the game, run SH3 Commander, and you should be able to do whatever you want. FYI, you should exit after each patrol, and update everything in SH3 Commander.

The best way to know if one mod will conflict with another is to use JSGME to install mods. It will tell you if the mod you are about to install will overwrite a file from another mod, and what the file is, and let you decide whether to install or not.
