Has anyone figured out a way to stop these marauding groups? I don't want to stop them entirely, but just see individual aircraft instead of groups of searchers...
Anyone know what I have to edit?
go to your /Silenthunter3/data/Land/LAB_NormalAirBaseGB/ folder
open the LAB_NormalAirBaseGB.cfg file with notepad and reduce the numbers "Squadron1No, Squadron2No..." to a value of 1 or to maybe 2 or 3 for fighter planes.
repeat this steps for all LAB******.cfg files in all LAB**** folders.
here´s an example how it should look like:
Stock 1.4b LAB_NormalAirBaseGB.cfg:
[Unit]
ClassName=NormalAirBaseGB
UnitType=406
MaxSpeed=0.000000
MinSpeed=0.000000
Length=1
Width=1
[AirGroup 1]
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19401225
Squadron1Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron1No=12
Squadron2Class=LBSSunderlandMKIII
Squadron2No=6
[AirGroup 2]
StartDate=19401226
EndDate=19430510
Squadron1Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron1No=18
Squadron2Class=LBSSunderlandMKIII
Squadron2No=12
[AirGroup 3]
StartDate=19420401
EndDate=19430510
Squadron1Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron1No=18
Squadron2Class=LBSSunderlandMKIII
Squadron2No=12
Squadron3Class=LBWell
Squadron3No=3
[AirGroup 4]
StartDate=19430511
EndDate=19451231
Squadron1Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron1No=18
Squadron2Class=LBSSunderlandMKIII
Squadron2No=12
Squadron3Class=LBB24Liberator
Squadron3No=6
Squadron4Class=LBWell
Squadron4No=6
modded LAB_NormalAirBaseGB.cfg:
[Unit]
ClassName=NormalAirBaseGB
UnitType=406
MaxSpeed=0.000000
MinSpeed=0.000000
Length=1
Width=1
[AirGroup 1]
StartDate=19380101
EndDate=19401225
Squadron1Class=LBSBlenheim
Squadron1No=2
Squadron2Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron2No=2
[AirGroup 2]
StartDate=19401226
EndDate=19420510
Squadron1Class=FBHurricaneMk1
Squadron1No=2
Squadron2Class=LBSPBYCatalina
Squadron2No=1
Squadron3Class=LBWell
Squadron3No=1
[AirGroup 3]
StartDate=19420511
EndDate=19451231
Squadron1Class=LBSSunderlandMKIII
Squadron1No=1
Squadron2Class=LBSPBYCatalina
Squadron2No=1
Squadron3Class=LBWell
Squadron3No=1
the number indicates how many planes are spawned at one time.
Hope this helps, please excuse my english!
